The goal of the big data analytics program is to facilitate the capture, curation, storage, search, transfer and analysis of large and complex data sets that have direct relevance to everyday situations and problems through interdisciplinary education, research, service and outreach.
The graduate certificate in Big Data Analytics may be completed in conjunction with the Masters degree in Computer Science.

Graduate students enrolled at OSU who are planning to graduate in the Spring 2018 semester have an application deadline of May 1, 2018.
Graduate students enrolled at OSU who are planning to graduate in a Summer semester have an application deadline of July 1 of the graduating year.
Graduate students enrolled at OSU who are planning to graduate in a Fall semester have an application deadline of October 31 of the graduating year.
Graduate students enrolled at OSU who are planning to graduate in a Spring 2019 or later spring semesters have an application deadline of March 31 of the graduating year.
Applications who are not already enrolled at OSU who are planning to enter the certificate program only have an application deadline of May 1 for fall enrollment and September 1 for spring enrollment.
